Immortals Debuts at WonderCon
“Immortals” is slated to come to life November 11, 2011 with the enhanced visual work of Gianni Nunnari (“300”), Mark Canton (“300”) and Ryan Kavanaugh (“The Fighter”) as producers. Under the direction of Tarsem Singh (“The Cell”), Immortals showcases a stunning 3-D epic tale of the Greek gods in a battle for control, power, vengeance and victory.
The story of King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) and his bloodthirsty Herkalion army navigate across Greece, destroying everything in their path. The mission at hand is their malevolent search for the Bow of Epirus, which will allow the king to overthrow Olympus and become master of the world.
As Hyperion’s army continues to raid villages, he faces a vengeful Theseus (Henry Cavill), whose mother was killed in the attacks. Upon meeting the Sybelline Oracle, Phaedra (Frieda Pinto), Theseus’ destiny is determined as he realizes his duty is to avenge his mother’s death and stop destruction to preserve the future of humanity.
