Time for a little self-promotion here at Cinemastance. Thanks to an overwhelming number of backers, my most recent book project, <em>Monster Atlas Volume 1: The Americas<\/em>, was a great success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That means that <em>Monster Atlas Volume 2<\/em> is on the way and a Kickstarter campaign has already begun. The link below will take you to the page and provide a more detailed video on the project featuring artist and co-author Greg Hyland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/monsteratlas2\/monster-atlas-volume-2-british-isles-and-nordic-co\">https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/monsteratlas2\/monster-atlas-volume-2-british-isles-and-nordic-co<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign ends on Tuesday, April 30th at 8:05 pm PST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinemastance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Monster-Atlas-2-pages-ireland-map.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18199\"\/><figcaption>Don&#8217;t worry folks, there will be many more monsters included and featured in the pages of the finished book.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This edition covers the UK\/Ireland, as well as Nordic\ncountries like Iceland,\nNorway, Sweden,\nFinland and Denmark.\nIt clocks in at about 150 full color pages and covers various monsters from\nmyth, cryptozoology, film &amp; TV as well as literature (and in case you&#8217;re\nwondering, don&#8217;t worry, the rest of Europe will be covered in future volumes). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinemastance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Monster-Atlas-2-pages-dalek.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18200\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This one&#8217;s chock full of some of the world&#8217;s most famous creatures.\nIt features monster write-ups, along with detailed maps showing where they&#8217;re\nall found and some splash pages as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right now the campaign has already met its initial funding goal and few couple of stretch goals, which include more incredible art by Gerhard (<em>Cerebus<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cinemastance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Volume-02-02-nessie-colour-screen-size-790x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18198\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, there&#8217;s still one incredible addition yet to be unlocked. The book is already great, but we&#8217;re so close to funding some extra images from John Kovalic (<em>Dork Tower,&nbsp;<\/em>the <em>Munchkin<\/em> card games).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prices are listed in Canadian funds, but essentially, you\ncan pick up a softcover copy of Volume 2 for as little as $34 US (including\nshipping!) and a PDF version goes for only $11 US dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And if you&#8217;re interested in catching up on and\/or grabbing\nVolume 1 too, you can do so here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.monsteratlas.com\/\">http:\/\/www.monsteratlas.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hurry, time is running out to help get every element funded and pick yourself up a copy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello there.
