\nAll this week I\u2019ve had\u2026What\u2019s it called? When you can\u2019t think of anything to write about that\u2019s worth anything?
\nWriter\u2019s block.
\nCan\u2019t think of a damn thing to communicate and I hate it. I blame Batman. Now that Nolan\u2019s done, I\u2019m dealing with a bit of a funk that has rendered my mind near useless.
\nFunny thing about “Dark Knight Rises”. Bane figures out he’s Bruce Wayne, Catwoman finds out and Joseph Levitt deciphers the fact with one look.. But Commish Gordon, who is a detective, comes to the conclusion at the very end of the third film after hanging with the Bat for how many years? Maybe he should be demoted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now it seems that all is over and we have to sit around and wait for \u201cThe Hobbit\u201d.<\/strong>
\n I could write about \u201cThe Hobbit\u201d and the recent announcement that Jackson will stretch the 300 page children\u2019s book into three films I suppose. The more Middle Earth the better but Jackson is going to have to pad the hell of it to justify another trilogy. The fact is there are about 1 billion reasons why 3 billion dollars are better than 2 billion dollars and that has to be the main driving force. Purist beware.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then I was thinking about Colin Farrell and \u201cTotal Recall,\u201d his annual August remake. Last year, if you remember, Mr. Farrell put on the pointy teeth for \u201cFright Night\u201d and now he takes on another reimaging tour of the sub-classic Schwarzenegger vehicle. I was thinking that maybe Colin can star in a remake from the 80\u2019s and 90s every August and it can become a sort of tradition. I recommend \u201cPee Wee\u2019s Big Adventure\u201d for next year\u2019s entry. If that goes well we can maybe get Pee Wee to take a crack at remaking some Colin Farrell films: \u201cAlexander\u201d and the blonde mane followed by \u201cPhone Booth\u201d. All remakes, all the time!!!<\/strong>

\n I was thinking of putting together a list of Olympic Sports movies but didn’t get to far. Of course you have “American Anthem” starring Mitch Gaylord and Janet Jones. Mitch was a member of the 1984 Men’s Gymnastic Team who won the All-Around Gold in Los Angeles. Please take a moment to absorb the poster art. In my research of the film (I googled it) I uncovered that this is the film director Albert Magnoli chose to follow his debut effort, “Purple Rain”. That’s a one-two punch.<\/strong>
\n “Chariots of Fire” but I’ve never seen it. Don’t get angry if this is one you hold dear. It looks incredibly boring so there is rarely a time I sit to play catch up and say to myself “Tonight, it’s all about films revolving around a Jewish runner’s struggles during the 1924 Olympics”. That never happens for some reason.<\/strong>
\n “Munich” is too heavy. Same thing can be said about “Cool Runnings”. I guess my favorite is “Miracle” and I don’t even like hockey. Great Kurt Russell performance. Rousing final act. Great story. But that’s a very short list.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So I have nothing and I wanted to share this fact and make a very meta-article of ramblings. Then I thought better of it. Please ignore this post.<\/strong><\/p>\n
